The current information regarding the Air India crash, which took place yesterday, June 12, 2025 is as follows: 🛫 What occurred Air India Flight AI‑171 Boeing 787‑8 Dreamliner had left Ahmedabad at approximately 1:38 PM IST, with its destination being London Gatwick. About 30 seconds after the takeoff, the aircraft collided with a hostel of a medical college in Meghaninagar locality of Ahmedabad . The plane was travelling with 242 people (230 passengers and 12 crew). Sadly, 241 people on board were killed and 28 or more people on the ground were confirmed dead, many others having been injured . miracle of all miracles, one passenger was alive, a British national of Indian origin, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, who was sitting at 11A. He managed to flee through a damaged door and is still in hospital .
